Education outside of the classroom is central to the Lincoln Castle Academy experience. We offer a wide range of clubs and societies, ranging from football and chess to films and sports leadership. We expect all students in Years 7 to 9 to take part in a minimum of one Involve club each week, thus meeting their enrichment Pledge (which is to attend an Involve club for at least one full half term).

In Years 10 and 11, students also have access to the ‘Achieve’ provision to support their revision and preparation for examinations. Some students are invited in small groups each week by subject staff to this provision. This year, some YR11 students are completing their third option in Achieve sessions, which allows them to access focused support in English and Maths in their timetabled option lessons.
